Macromedia's latest version of the Flash family has a split personality. Find out
what's new in Macromedia Flash MX 2004 and Flash MX Professional 2004. This class explores
the new features including the new Start Page, Polystar tool, Timeline Effects, Behaviors,
and Find and Replace function to name a few.
This class is not an entry-level class for users of Flash MX 2004. You must have have a
good working knowledge of Flash MX. It is recommended that you have completed at least the
Flash MX Intro and Flash MX Intermediate classes at LVS. As a feature-rich, fast-paced
class, basic topics and features will not be covered.
Prerequisites: Minimum requirement: Flash MX Intro and Intermediate classes.
Recommended requirement: + Flash MX Advanced and Flash ActionScripting classes.
Requirements: Zip files are provided with examples and files necessary to complete
the exercises. WinZip, PKZip
or similar program is required to unzip these files. A Winzip tutorial can be found here.
Internet Explorer must be used to download any FLA files (Flash's native format). Other
browsers do not save this type of file properly.
All lessons are available in both HTML and a printer-friendly PDF format. Adobe Acrobat Reader is
required to view/print the PDF versions of the lessons.
